One of the most difficult calls to make in baseball or softball is a foul ball. With baseball field foul pole systems, umpires will have an easier time judging whether or not a ball is foul. These poles also assist umpires with deciding whether a fly ball is a home run or out of play.

National Sports Nets designs standard and customized baseball foul poles in any color. Each design meets baseball regulations. For park districts, recreational leaders may need baseball foul poles that meet Little League Baseball standards for tee ball, minor league and other levels of play. High school and college athletic directors can also choose sizes that meet their league's requirements.

Standard baseball foul poles include a 4,6, 8 or 10” -inch diameter tube made from heavy-wall steel or aluminum. The heights range from 22 to 40 feet above ground, with additional length available for mounting and stability below grade. Each baseball field foul pole features sandblasted and primed or powder coating for a long lifespan, rust prevention and high visibility.
